My dad's neighbours have always had horses, while I've been away, they've started with mini versions as well. Very cute and friendly!

Home, sweet home... or at least, chez mon papa!

Ok, as you can see the snow is all gone, but still, it's really nice, huh?

First eve of my Christmas break. I'm just arrived at my dad's place, relaxing with coffee, cat and paper...

Merry Xmas, tout le monde!

(Photo from my Christmas gift shopping day, a crisp and sunny friday the 20th of december, of Seine and Hôtel de Ville)

It's even Christmas at my school, decorated in the usual trashy way.

Quite different from "Ljusgården" in Chalmers, or maybe not?

Good-bye-Sushi-making-evening at the Swedish house

Dora, Tomoko and Helena making nigiris with shrimps

My neighbour Tomoko arranged everything!

Making "pepparkakor" (traditional Swedish xmas cookies)

In my home in Paris! And No, the wine is not for drinking, I just needed the bottle as a replacement for a rolling-pin since we don't have any  in the Swedish house. Very French, huh?

Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree...

...and it's a real one too!! It smells of xmas, giving everyone in Maison des étudiants suédois a xmas spirit despite tests, projects, presetations and other school work due before the holidays.

December 12-15: Project weekend!

Matteo (italian), Laura (american) and Mehdi (algerian).

Sunday 3:00 pm:
(Matteo) -ha ha ha, a sheep called Daisy, ha ha! (on a woody allen movie)
(Maria) Crawling on the floor with laughter.

Monday 3:am:
(Matteo) - Puta, puta, puta... puta... (among other more unspeakable italian bad words)
(Maria) -Shut up and render, Matteo!

A late picture from our fête d' Halloween...

...with me wearing olivier's wig. In the background my neighbour Francis who turned up in most of everyone's photos from this night. How did he manage that?

Beaucoup de faire...

... donc pas des photos aujourd'hui...

Instead I have to study. Like always. And I sort of promised my professor in the sustainable developement course I'm taking to bring pics from two projects in Sweden... What on earth did I do that for??

I'm longing for christmas break. At least I got in the christmas mood this weekend when I taught my neighbours to make "lussekatter". it was fun.

bonne nuit from Paris.

Saturday, November 29th, Paris, Snowflakes!

Walking in a winter wonderland...

...well, at least for 10 minutes before it melted away.
This is the Cité universitaire parc just in front of our house, seen from the kitchen window.
